Ruthven Park is hosting a free workshop about the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service. The workshop is presented by EnAbling Nonprofits Ontario, part of the Ontario Nonprofit Network. The workshop is on Thursday, May 19th and runs from 12 to 3 p.m.
All nonprofits and charities in Ontario will have to comply with the accessible customer service standards under the AODA by January 1, 2012. At this workshop, you'll learn about these standards, get resources to help you comply with the standards, discuss approaches to increase awareness and understanding of the standards, and you'll get a chance to network with other nonprofit organizations. You also get a free lunch!
